Bicycle overtaking experiment
Goal of this experiment is to measure how drivers overtake cyclist.
Using two sonar rangefinders located on the side of the bike we measure the distance of the passing car and possibly its speed.
Inspired by:
Hardware
- Velobot Prototype #2
- 2x MaxBotix LV‑MaxSonar‑EZ1
Two rangefinders are connected to FRDM-KL25Z board which features ARM Cortext-M0 with 16-bit SAR ADC.
ADC readings are transfered to Raspberry Pi over USB serial and recorded for further analysis.
